I definitely have the best job at the church because I get to work with kids and their families, and let’s be honest, kids are the best! Children’s ministry is my passion. As a kid, I was able to see children’s ministry in action with my mom and dad as children’s pastors and I have been called to ministry ever since.
My goal in children’s ministry is to partner with parents so that our kids at Calvary KNOW, GROW, and GO! We want them to KNOW Christ and accept Him as their Savior, GROW in their relationship with Christ, and GO and tell others about Christ. I do think that our kids are the church of tomorrow, but they are also the church of right now! My goal is to instill 1 Timothy 4:12 into their lives, so they can start to make a difference as a kid.
I have been married to my better half (she told me to say that) Andrea since October 2010. We have 3 awesome kids, Lane, Leena, and Landry.
In our free time you can find us at the lake doing any watersport imaginable, riding horses or enjoying a fair, watching our kids play sports, or cheering on some of the best sport teams out there – Michigan State and any pro Detroit team (don’t worry, Detroit is just in a Rebuilding decade!).
